You don’t need to spend thousands of dollars on property renovations to improve your home’s visual appeal – there are plenty of small, affordable ways to freshen up your home’s decor and make your living space more comfortable and attractive. Here are four decorating tips to freshen up your home’s appearance in no time.

1. Organize Your Home

To take the first step in improving the look of your home, is to see how your space is organized. Having most of items organized and compartmentalized will keep you sane and keep your space looking organized. In the entry way have a designated area for all your keys, wallet . In your bedroom, keep the night stand with a few items and the rest go neatly in the drawers. In your bathroom, have your most used beauty products displayed neatly on specific trays and the rest of the items are organized in the vanity.

2. Give your walls a fresh coat of paint

A fresh coat of paint has the power to completely transform your interiors and breath new life into your home. Classic colors like cream and white help make rooms appear bigger and airier which is why they’re so popular. However, re-painting the walls is the perfect opportunity to choose a vibrant shade and experiment with colors. One popular design idea is to paint an accent wall in a high-contrast color, or eye-catching patterned wallpaper to create a standout feature wall.

  • First off I want to say superb blog! I had a quick question in which I’d
like to ask if you don’t mind. I was interested to find out how you
center yourself and clear your thoughts before writing.

I’ve had difficulty clearing my thoughts in getting my thoughts out.
I do enjoy writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes tend to be wasted just trying to figure out how
to begin. Any suggestions or hints? Thanks!

    • Hi, thank you for reading! I usually go about my writing with a center idea of what I want to discuss and then break it down into smaller sections to support my initial topic. At the beginning it takes time but once you start it gets easier. Good luck!

  • With havin so much content and articles do you ever run into any issues
of plagorism or copyright infringement? My blog has a lot
of completely unique content I’ve either created
myself or outsourced but it appears a lot of it is popping it up all over
the internet without my permission. Do you know any techniques
to help prevent content from being ripped off?
    I’d certainly appreciate it.

    • Hi Dorothy, unfortunately we all take some risk of plagiarism/copyright infringement when we share our content online. It’s important to have a clause in your website that requires others to ask permission to share your content on their end. Good luck!
